Miami, FL (SIZE THIRTEEN MUSIC) - Little Silver Records announced today that Daniel East will take over the duties on drums, percussion and background vocals for the legendary Miami-based band, Iko-Iko. East had served as both the band's touring engineer during the early 1990's and managed the group; which, at that time, had music in the films "Cape Fear," "Contact" and AAA/Alt Country radio favorites, "(I've Got) Gris-Gris," "Bag Me, Tag Me, Take Me Away" and "Celebration." East becomes the second new addition to the band in as many months. "It is something I'd always imagined I'd do," reports East who recently relocated back to South Florida. "The energy is there, the new material is there and it is a very exciting time for the band overall with such great players and great audiences."

About Iko-Iko:

Performing for nearly three decades, Graham Wood Drout's ability to discover outstanding musical talent is impressive. The so-called "voodoo rock" band's line up has featured a wide range of premier performers (Ron Dziubla/Chayanne, Ricky Martin; Nick Kane/The Mavericks; Glen Caruba/Sheryl Crow, Don Henley, Bruce Springsteen; Mike Bauer/Pam Tillis, Point of Grace) since their debut as the house band at Miami's first cabaret, Tobacco Road, and has backed up a who's who of legendary performers in a variety of venues. The award-winning founder and front-man, Graham Wood Drout, has music currently released and performed by both Joey Gilmore and Albert Castiglia on their latest respective releases. Also in the current lineup of the group are John "Good Rockin' Johnny" Wenzel on lead guitar and Mitch Mestel on bass guitar.

Drout has also paired with next-generation Blues guitarist, Albert Castiglia on a new live/acoustic release titled "Bittersweet Sessions" on sale now from Little Silver Records.

Upcoming appearances include:
Feb. 10: Riverwalk Blues Festival, Fort Lauderdale, FL
Feb. 13: Tobacco Road, Miami, FL
Feb. 15: Hooligan's Pub, Miami/Dadeland, FL
Feb. 17: Sushi Blues/Blue Monk, Hollywood, FL
Feb. 18: Ocean Reef Club, Key Largo, FL
