Voted #1 in DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs Poll for a record-breaking fourth consecutive year, Armin van Buuren is one of the decade's most influential and widely known trance artist. His recent accolades also includes six 2011 International Dance Music Awards for Best Global DJ, Best European DJ, Best Trance Track, Best Full Length DJ Mix for 'A State of Trance 2010,' Best Radio Mix Show DJ and Best Podcast for 'A State of Trance.'
Armin's highly acclaimed productions include his most recent fourth artist album Mirage, for which he collaborated with the likes of BT, Ferry Corsten and Adam Young, and featured the hit track "Not Giving Up On Love" with Sophie Ellis-Bextor. His third artist album 'Imagine' was the first dance album to debut at number on the Dutch Album Top 100 Chart, and his second album 'Shivers' featured collaborations with Nadia Ali, Justine Suissa and Gabriel & Dresden. Armin's remix output includes tracks for the TV series '24' and the likes of Motorcycle, The Killers, Faithless, BT and Kerli. Armin's annual 'A State of Trance' compilations have won several awards and continue to introduce trance fans to a fresh and exclusive selection of tracks, while his weekly 2-hour 'A State of Trance' radio show is listened to by 15 million electronic dance music lovers worldwide. Featuring a selection of the best in trance and progressive, ASOT just celebrated its 500th show in 5 different countries on 5 different continents: South Africa, the Netherlands, USA, Argentina and Australia. It was accompanied by the 'ASOT 500' album, a five disc set. While Armin himself takes care of the opening disc, Disc Two is in the hands of Paul Oakenfold, Disc Three is handled by Markus Schulz, with Cosmic Gate and Andy Moor overseeing Four and Five respectively.
Joining Armin is Blake Jarrell, one of the fastest rising stars in the dance music industry today. Beside flying across the globe and back playing such locations as Ibiza, Dubai, Singapore, Los Angeles, he's also continuously putting out new original music and remix work. His monthly 'Concentrate' radio show continues to evolve and reach new audiences by featuring signature mix sets from Blake and special international guests.
The complete sound system for the night will be installed and engineered by Integral Sound.
