Mercury Rev release their hotly anticipated new album 'The Secret Migration' on January 24th 2005.
The 13-track album was produced by the band and long-time collaborator Dave Fridman who also worked on the bands previous 2 albums 'All Is Dream' and Deserter's Songs'. Full track-listing goes like this:

'The Secret Migration' finds Mercury Rev in a somewhat lighter mood, with songs like the anthemic 'Secret For A Song' – which was recently released as a download only single - sounding immediate and forceful. If Deserter's Songs was autumn, 'All Is Dream' winter, then 'The Secret Migration' feels like spring: fresh-cheeked, maybe a little mischievous and infused with hopeful spirits.
Mercury Rev will also be releasing the first single from the album on January 17th 2005. The single, entitled 'In A Funny Way' is released on CD, DVD and a limited edition 7' picture disc.
CD features 'In A Funny Way' plus 2 songs not featured on the new album; 'Good Times Ahead' and 'The Black Swan'.
The 7' has 'In A Funny Way' on the A-side and a version of The Replacements 'Androgynous' (which has also been covered by Joan Jett in the past).
