
TORONTO, Canada (Top40 Charts/ Universal
Music Canada) - Halifax-based recording artist Jon Mullane's song Make You Move has been nominated for Single of the Year at the 2009 East Coast
Music Awards.
The nomination is the latest in this continuing success story, which includes being picked up by NBC for use in their promo commercials for the Beijing Summer Olympics.
The single also became a summer hit on Canadian radio garnering chart success and extensive airplay on over 60 radio stations across the country. Make You Move is an internet radio hit as well, topping several charts worldwide. This fun, energetic rock song was co-written and produced by Toronto native Creighton Doane. Jon's most recent album 'The Source' is released through Fontana North/Universal Music Canada.
