Travis Royce , 22, Portland, has signed a management agreement with Michael "Goldie" Greaux, a 27-year A&R veteran at Def Jam Universal and owner of Goldie Mack Artist Management, New York.
Royce, who creates electronic/hip-hop/alternative music, has scheduled his first live performance for 7 pm Sunday, Aug. 21st at the Hawthorne Theater, 1507 SE 39th Ave., Portland, Ore. 97214. Tickets for the event at the all-age music venue are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.
The artist, who has been producing music since he was 12, began releasing his songs publicly for the first time this year. Portland-area DJs are playing his music in clubs. He recently garnered an endorsement from Mcube Records, which chose 12 artists after listening to music submitted by musicians from all over the world.
The electronic/hip-hop artist has two music licensing contracts in hand and expects to have the deals in place in August. He plans to release an album by the end of the summer.
