NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ Juliet Lyons Official Website) - From New Mexico to California to an island in the Caribbean, Juliet Lyons is making international waves with the release of her debut album, My Siren Song. A melting pot of sounds - a fusion of New Age, Chill Out, and Classical Crossover, her music sets sail from the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia on March 25, 2009. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served and Juliet will perform a few selections from the album, which infuses New Age, Chill Out, and Classical Crossover genres of music with global undertones.

Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Juliet Lyons was until recently a recording artist and private vocal instructor in Los Angeles. She washed up on Saint Lucia's shore last year to join her husband who presently works for Coconut Bay Resort on the southern tip of the island. Although the album is being released with a concentration on the U.S. market, Juliet's release party will take place at the very place the cover photography for her album was shot. 'I'm thrilled to be having my release party here in Saint Lucia,' says Juliet. 'Not many people can say they launched their CD from a beautiful island in the middle of the Caribbean!'

On an island where Soca is king and Reggae is queen, Juliet Lyons' music, loosely categorized as New Age, may be a change of pace. New Age music is less rhythm-driven and more melody-driven than Soca, for example, and is described as peaceful music 'which is intended to create inspiration, relaxation, and positive feelings.' (Wikipedia)

But one can't classify Juliet as solely New Age. Her melodies, her voice, and her creations take one beyond the realm into a more pop-operatic groove fusion, pushing the boundaries of music genres. Calling to mind elements of Sarah Brightman and Josh Groban, Enya, Loreena McKennitt, Enigma, and Thievery Corporation, Juliet's soaring, three octave soprano voice is the silk that spins it all together, creating something sophisticated, sensual, intellectual, and uniquely her own.

Juliet is a classically trained songstress who has performed around the world. A prolific songwriter, her songs have been placed in a variety of independent films and signed to several music libraries. My Siren Song pushes the boundaries of music genres while Juliet Lyons' vocals deliver the emotion of her thoughtful lyrics with pristine ethereal power, sailing the Caribbean breeze. The CD is available online at CD Baby, iTunes, and Amazon.
