DALLAS, TX. (Top40 Charts/ Inner Frequency Official Website) - Dallas-based rock band Inner Frequency has announced that one of the original co-founders of the group, Luke Carnevale, will be leaving the band after a final show on July 17th at Jack's Backyard & Chill Grill in Dallas, TX. Luke and vocalist Cara Young formed Inner Frequency in 1995, and evolved from playing as an acoustic duo in coffee shops to rocking as a full, five piece band.
The pair co-wrote all of the band's existing tunes and built a strong fan base in the Dallas area, as well as playing regional shows in Austin, College Station, Fort Worth, Denton and San Angelo. Their most recent release, Surge, was recorded and produced by Will Hunt (Odis, Burning Hotels, Aimee Lee of Evanescence) of Spaceway Studios.
'It was Luke's decision to leave, and though it came as quite a surprise to the rest of us in the band, we respect him and wish nothing but the best for him as he moves forward in life,' explains Cara. Remaining members Brad Brock (bass), Jon Mosig (drums) and Barry Dyer (guitar) will continue to perform the existing Inner Frequency catalog, as well as creating new songs as a band. Guitarist Dave Perez (from New Orleans band Invain) will be sitting in for Dallas shows on July 12 (Poor David's Pub) and July 30 (The Cavern).
