OC Fair Announces Complete 2013 Lineup For The Hangar Featuring Live Musical Performances And Celebrity Chefs
Costa Mesa, CA (Top40 Charts/ OC Fair & Event Center) The OC Fair (July 12 - August 11) today announced the complete summer entertainment lineup for The Hangar, a 23,000-square-foot aviation-style structure featuring an incredible lineup of top-notch tribute and original bands as well as celebrity chefs. Fairgoers can rock out to the tunes of their favorite artists and enjoy free Fair admission before and after the show with their concert ticket.

The Hangar's 2013 entertainment lineup includes:
Hotel California: A Salute to The Eagles - Friday, July 12, 8:30 p.m.
A majority of the band members tackle multiple instruments throughout the concert to recreate a concert experience that pays homage to The Eagles. All seats $16.

Space Oddity - A Tribute to David Bowie - Saturday, July 13, 8:30 p.m.
David Brighton channels David Bowie to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Bowie's classic album, Aladdin Sane, by performing the album in its entirety as well as other hits. All seats $16.

Mariachi Sol de Mexico de Jose Hernandez - Sunday, July 14, 5 p.m.
Created by Jose Hernandez in 1981 and composed of 14 band members, Mariachi Sol de Mexico de Jose Hernandez captures the authentic spirit of mariachi and communicates its cultural heritage. Tickets start at $17.50.

Lucha Libre - Sunday, July 14, 8:45 p.m.
This Mexican form of freestyle wrestling features Hijo de Rey Misterio, Máscara Sagrada, Octagoncito, Mascarita Dorada, Mini Black Abyss and Pequeño Albrije each donning colorful attires and masks. Tickets start at $15.

Green Today / Total Distortion - Wednesday, July 17, 8:30 p.m.
The concert for the ultimate punk rock fan, Green Today and Total Distortion will play all the hits of Green Day and Social Distortion, respectively, through the decades. All seats $16.

Strangelove - The Ultimate Tribute to Depeche Mode - Thursday, July 18, 8:30 p.m.
This tribute band combines theatrical stage production and in-show costume changes to reflect Depeche Mode's decades-spanning career. All seats $16.

KISSmania - A Tribute to KISS - Friday, July 19, 8:30 p.m.
Personifying the KISS's Love Gun era of 1977-1978, KISSmania has performed from Texas to Canada. All seats $16.

OC Fair Celebrity Chefs Jaime Martin de Campo and Ramiro Arvizu - Saturday, July 20, 4 p.m.

Chefs Jaime and Ramiro are owners of the award-winning La Casita Mexicana Restaurant, named one of the best Mexican restaurants in Los Angeles by the Los Angeles Times. The pair has shared their culinary knowledge of authentic Mexican cuisine on several cooking shows including "Throwdown with Bobby Flay" and "The Naked Chef," and have appeared on NBC's "Today Show" and Univision's "Despierta America." Hot August Night - A Tribute to Neil Diamond - Saturday, July 20, 8:30 p.m.
Dean Colley, with more than 20 years of live stage performance experience, takes the stage as Neil Diamond and has performed internationally in Japan, Canada and England. All seats $16.

KIDZ BOP Kids Live: Urban Extreme - Sunday, July 21, 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Young Fairgoers can sing and dance along to family-friendly version of current Top 40 hits sung by other young people. Each show requires a separate ticket. Tickets for either showtime start at $16.

dada: The 20th Anniversary Tour - Sunday, July 21, 8:30 p.m.
After a brief hiatus, band members Michael Gurley, Joie Calio and Phil Leavitt seek to revive the artful harmonic style reminiscent of Simon & Garfunkel with new songs and classics in dada's 20th anniversary tour. Tickets start at $16.50.

Purple Reign - THE Prince Tribute - Wednesday, July 24, 8:30 p.m.
With its seamless re-creation of Prince's raw energy, Purple Reign was the first-ever tribute/impersonator act to appear as the musical guest on "Late Show with David Letterman" in 2008. Tickets start at $16.

The Police Experience / The Distractions - Thursday, July 25, 8:30 p.m.

In its illustrious 18-year career, Ozomatli has performed globally and served as cultural ambassadors to government-sponsored international tours. Tickets start at $17.50

Arrival From Sweden - The Music of ABBA - Wednesday, July 31, 8:30 p.m.
This tribute band is the only one around with exclusive permission from ABBA to copy its costumes and has performed in countries from Holland to Puerto Rico. Tickets start at $15.

OC Fair Celebrity Chef Michael Chiarello - Thursday, August 1, 4 p.m.
Award-winning chef and owner of Bottega in Napa Valley and Coqueto in San Francisco, Michael has hosted his own shows on PBS, Food Network and Cooking Channel and has appeared on Bravo's "Top Chef," "Top Chef Masters" and "Iron Chef America." He is also the host of "Easy Entertaining with Michael Chiarello," airing daily on PBS. Free with Fair admission.

Wanted - The Ultimate Tribute to Bon Jovi - Thursday, August 1, 8:30 p.m.
Members of the band have honed the craft by performing in previous bands and now combine their talents to bring fans a unique Bon Jovi experience. All seats $16.

40 Oz to Freedom - A Tribute to Sublime - Friday, August 2, 8:30 p.m.
Staying true to its Southern California rock/reggae roots, 40 Oz to Freedom has been paying homage to Sublime's thumping bass lines, guitar riffs and vocals since 2007. All seats $16.

Which One's Pink? - A Fair Forgery of Pink Floyd - Saturday, August 3, 8:30 p.m.
Los Angeles-based Which One's Pink? performs the hits of classic rock band Pink Floyd with a stunning display of vocals and visual effects. All seats $16.

This tribute band takes the audience on a retrospective journey of Queen's music career by preserving the vintage rock band's image, sound and stage persona. All seats $16.

Springsteen! - The Ultimate Tribute to The Boss - Thursday, August 8, 8:30 p.m.
For their 2013 OC Fair appearance, Springsteen! will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of The Boss' first albums Greetings From Asbury Park and The Wild, The Innocent, & The E Street Shuffle with performances of the "best" songs from each album plus more great hits from the superstar. All seats $16.

Rumours - The Ultimate Tribute to Fleetwood Mac - Friday, August 9, 8:30 p.m.
A tribute to not only the legendary band but also to music's effect as an unbridled cultural experience, Rumours puts on a spot-on performance down to characterization and period-accurate costumes. All seats $16.

Dead Man's Party - The Oingo Boingo Tribute - Saturday, August 10, 8:30 p.m.
This eight-piece band has been fashioned after the original Oingo Boingo lineup, featuring a three-piece horn section, guitar, bass, keys, drums and a front-man so convincing that people sometimes believe that they are actually watching Danny Elfman himself. All seats $16.

Dread Zeppelin / Metalachi - Sunday, August 11, 8:30 p.m.
Dread Zeppelin is fronted by an Elvis impersonator and has been performing reggae versions of Led Zeppelin songs for more than 20 years. Metalachi is the world's only heavy metal mariachi band. The two combined creates a unique musical experience not to be missed. Tickets start at $16.

The 2013 OC Fair, themed Come & Get It, is July 12 - August 11 and brings 23 days of food, rides, exhibits, animals, music, action sports and fun, as well as the Toyota Summer Concert Series at the Pacific Amphitheatre, The Hangar and Action Sports Arena. The Fair is open Wednesday-Sunday. Concert tickets, action sports reserved seats and single-day general admission are available for purchase online at ticketmaster.com or from the on-site Box Office.
