The Official Growing Up Green CD Release Concert featuring Pamela Sunshine and friends starts at 1:00 on Sunday March 21st, and is perfect for families looking for a fun filled show with lots of opportunities for audience participation.

Come out to the PAL Theatre at 581 Cardero St, Vancouver and welcome in the spring with Pamela Sunshine performing uplifting environmental songs from her new CD, Growing Up Green. Pamela will be joined by Beth Southwell on accordian and djembe etc as well as other surprise guests. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children and available at www.ticketstonight.ca or at the door.

Pamela Sunshine's fifth CD for children, 'Growing Up Green,' produced by BCCMA award winning producer Chris Rolin (Rick Tippe, Ken McCoy, Brent Lee), features Shari Ulrich on fiddle and Steve Dawson on slide guitar. The title track was produced by Allan Rodger (The Odds, Stephen Fearing, Rick Scott). Blaine Dunaway (violin) and Andy Smyth (keyboards) also feature, adding their magic to the arrangements. Gord Maxwell (One Horse Blue and Ian Tyson) adds back up harmonies to put the icing on the cake.

Growing Up Green features ten uplifting environmental songs for kids of all ages. The songs deal with green themes, such as habitat, water conservation, bike riding, reducing pollution, recycling etc. It encourages the appreciation of nature, caring for the earth and the raising awareness around our connection with the earth.

Pamela Sunshine will also be performing in the upcoming months at Burnaby Village Museum. and at Maple Ridge's Funzone Family Festival. Dates at Worldfest and Earth Day in California are also confirmed.
