Madison, WI (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - Paul Thorn has climbed to the top spot on the Americana radio charts with his latest album 'Pimps and Preachers.' The album, which also gave Thorn his first Billboard top 100 debut, has been wowing critics.

Paste says 'the sacred and the profane pair nicely here, driven by Thorn's dusky voice and subtle, often self-deprecating wit,' while the Newark Star-Ledger says Thorn authors 'succinct, epigrammatic verse that unsentimentally assays life's common troubles.'

Thorn recently sat down with Bob Edwards to discuss the album, and tell stories about boxing inmates, what 'Weeds in My Roses' really means and more. Listen here:
