Perry Farrell Forms Creative Partnership With Producer Joachim Garraud For New Electro Tracks 'Applause For You'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Lollapalooza Official Website) Always pushing the musical envelope, PERRY FARRELL is keeping it fresh as he leads into this summer's 20th anniversary of Lollapalooza, his groundbreaking festival he founded and continues to produce today. Alongside his rock roots, FARRELL's passion for electronic music continues with PerryEtty-his project with his wife and musical partner Etty Farrell-and the release of new dance floor tracks and a corresponding live show produced along with creative partner, French producer Joachim Garraud. The first offering will be Perry Farrell presents PerryEtty "Applause For You," a single to be released by Ultra Music on July 26 and a remix by Bass Jackers on August 9 with remixes from Junior Sanchez and Sonic C to follow.

Other tracks they've created include "Dancing On a Star" and "Calling Her," to be featured on an EP (release date TBA). The new tracks evoke good times and party vibe from the shores of Miami to the nightclubs of Paris. For the last year, PerryEtty have been performing these tracks live. From Lollapalooza Chile to Art Basel Miami, PerryEtty vs. Chris Cox, their project together with world renowned producer Chris Cox, the trio ignite party fires around the globe with stellar electro sets highlighted by these new songs.

Joachim Garraud's repertoire in the electronic music realm circles wide. Along with Laurent Garnier, the musician started as a DJ at The Boy, the Parisian club that first initiated the discovery of the techno phenomenon in France. Becoming a pioneer of precision guided music, he launched his own recording studio Paris, were he has remixed, composed or produced artists such as David Guetta, Jean-Michel Jarre, Paul Johnson, Deep Dish, David Bowie, OMD, Kylie Minogue, Mylene Farmer, Cassius, Ceronne, Moby, Robbie Rivera and many more. He developed a new concept, blending DJing and musical improvisation including his signature keytar, thus giving a true concert, a unique live performance which soon gave him the opportunity to perform all over the world.

Look for both PerryEtty vs Chris Cox and Joachim Garraud to perform at this year's Lollapalooza Saturday, August 6 in Grant Park, Chicago at "Perry's," where festival-goers can have the ultimate electronic music experience. Now going into its fourth year at the festival, "Perry's" has been expanded for 15,000+ fans and will be tented. "Muscular beats," FARRELL says. "That's the theme." Other artists that will appear at "Perry's" include Girl Talk, Pretty Lights, Kid Cudi, The Bloody Beatroots Death Crew 77, Afrojack, Modeselektor, Skrillex, Chuckie, The Glitch Mob, Super Mash Bros., 12th Planet, Busy P, The Cool Kids, Daedelus, Feed Me, Jackmaster, Collie Buddz, Savoy, Kyle Lucas & Captain Midnite, Ana Tijoux, Midnight Conspiracy, DJ Neil Armstrong, Light and Lady D.
