Nashville, TN (Top40 Charts/ ISC) - Internationally renowned for its high-caliber judges, ISC has put together an impressive panel of 60 judges this year, offering entrants a unique opportunity to have their songs heard by some of the most influential decision-makers in the industry. Monte Lipman, President of Universal Republic Records, states "We're always been impressed with the talented songwriters who participate in the ISC. This is a great A&R source to find new artists." Since 2004, three of the five Grand Prize winners have been signed to major record labels (Universal and Epic), one to a high-profile independent label, and one to a publishing deal.

The deadline to enter has been extended to December 3, 2010. ISC accepts online, mail-in, and MySpace entries. Entries must be postmarked or submitted online on or before midnight EST (US) on December 3, 2010. For more information and an entry form, go to www.songwritingcompetition.com.

One of the most prestigious songwriting competitions in the world, ISC offers entrants a chance to compete for over $150,000 in cash and prizes, including an Overall Grand Prize package of $25,000 (US) in cash and $20,000 in merchandise.
