'Pop Starlet On The Rise' (Hollywood Reporter) Nikki Jean Brings Sparkling Pop-Soul To NYC's Mercury Lounge Sept. 7

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) Coming off appearances on Letterman, WNYC's Soundcheck, and NPR's Weekend Edition, singer/songwriter/pianist Nikki Jean returns to NYC for an intimate trio performance at the Mercury Lounge on September 7th. Her pop-soul debut album, Pennies in a Jar (S-Curve), was released last month to praise from The Wall Street Journal, People, NY Daily News, and more. The album is a historic disc of twelve new, original songs co-written by Nikki with legendary songwriters such as Bob Dylan, Carole King, Burt Bacharach, Lamont Dozier, Jimmy Webb and many more. The NY Daily News warns "you'll have trouble suppressing a smile."
