Q-Tip & Kendrick Lamar "Want U 2 Want" Them On New Song
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Yesterday on his "Abstract Radio" show on Beats 1, Q-Tip premiered an unreleased song with Kendrick Lamar called "Want U 2 Want." "Not really new, but whatever," Q-Tip said of the track. He closed by playing his and Demi Lovato's cover of Elton John and Kiki Dee's "Don't Go Breaking My Heart."
It's a funky and soulful tune full of scratches, which allows Cortez Kenny to rhyme about his wants and needs. "I just want you to want me," he adds. "I want to see you fall through / Quick fast, without having to call you."

Meanwhile, Q-Tip references the classic "She Needs Me" off The Kendrick Lamar EP, which dropped in 2009. "She needs me," he rhymes. "I need her."
It's unclear when the song was made but Tip confirmed that it isn't "new." In 2013, he tweeted: "@kendricklamar can I let this record we did go my brotha? People need to hear it." The tweet has since been deleted.

The Tip-Dot collaboration arrives on the heels of Black Panther: The Album, which Kendrick curated and produced with his TDE family. "Want U 2 Want" appears at the 1:42:00 mark below:
