New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - On his forthcoming album 'Peace Love Ukulele' (Hitchhike Records, January 4th, 2011), virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro challenges traditional notions of his instrument. The astonishing stand-out track 'Bring Your Adz' is a guitar-style rock song designed for the four-string, two-octave ukulele.

'An adz is a small ancient Hawaiian tool used for cutting that looks like an axe,' Jake says. 'In rock & roll people usually refer to their guitars as their axe...I guess this is the ukulele version of the expression.'
