NEW YORK (Top 40 Charts) - As expected, the Rolling Stones will indeed be heading back to the road for a tour this year. The band, which hasn't toured in three years, will announce the details of the outing at a press conference on Tuesday (May 7) in New York. They are expected to arrive via a blimp at Van Cortlandt Park around noon, though that was not confirmed at press time. Plans for a 2001 tour were scrapped in order to give Mick Jagger time to work on some movies and finish and promote his solo album, Goddess in the Doorway, which came out in November 2001.
