Rustik Records Ruff Round The Edges, Furnishing The Grooves!

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Rustik Records) Rustik or rustic is derived from the dictionary definition 'charmingly simple'. Far detached from the synthetic mainstream world of popular music our artists produce songs without barriers and restrictions. We nurture that talent and give it a deserved freedom to roam. The team have been working with four artists for the last six months in makeshift studios with state of the art/bog standard equipment to get the sound intended.

The first artist is One Stone, mainly a Reggae dub influenced outfit with an arsenal of riddims. The second is 1Lung, an offset MC from the One Stone project. The third is Ambush tactics, the conscious syllable poet and the fourth is Born Ina Barn, the driving force behind the label & live shows. The core members of Born Ina Barn founded this record label based in the south coast of the United Kingdom in 2009. Since then a new batch of talent has been incorporated into the live shows and recordings. These artists, MC's, DJ's & producers have gone on to star along side the full Rustik family on radio shows, venues & festivals across the country. Unlike many other labels associated with Hip Hop, we see ourselves outside the stereotypical boundaries and incorporate many other genres into our music.
