LOS ANGELES, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Echo Media) - On June 11 at 8 p.m.,
Sebastian Sidi will experience the culmination of years of hard work as his recently filmed concert, 'Sebastian Sidi: Live in Concert at The OC Pavilion,' airs in its television debut on
Orange County's PBS station, KOCE-TV. The 90-minute broadcast premiere will offer
Orange County and Los Angeles residents an opportunity to experience the new genre Sidi has single-handedly developed - a unique blend of classical, new age rock with a touch of Latin flavor.
The realization of a lifelong dream for Sidi, this television event was made possible by his teaming with 12-time Emmy Award-winning producer, George Veras - the man credited with producing 'Yanni Live at the Acropolis.'
Sidi is self-taught on drums, keyboard and bass guitar. He plays by ear and has been self-produced and self-promoted up until now.
'I'm honored that the hard work I have put into my music has led to this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,' said Sidi. 'To share the music that embodies my greatest passion in life - on this scale - makes my efforts seem worthwhile.'
The concert will re-air June 13 at 8:30 p.m. and June 15 at 12 midnight. If well-received by audiences, the program has the potential to be spread through the channels of the national PBS networks.
'Sebastian Sidi: Live in Concert at The OC Pavilion' features original compositions from Sidi's albums, including 1999's raw, uplifting 'Prelude;' 2000's intricate 'Electrified;' 2002's relaxed 'Passion;' and 2005's 'Desperate Journey.'
