Simple Minds Premiere New Album 'Big Music' With Idolator
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Missing Piece Group) On November 4th, the veteran Scottish alternative rock band Simple Minds will return with Big Music, their first album of new material in 5 years. In advance of the release, Idolator is offering an exclusive stream of the record one week early.

Robbie Daw of Idolator called the new release "...a mix of attention-grabbing melodies, guitar and synth-filled instrumentation, irresistible choruses and Kerr's familiar crooning - in other words, Big Music comes packed with all the proper Simple Minds hallmarks."

Recently, Consequence of Sound premiered the track "Midnight Walking" and said "even after all these years, the band still knows how to blend the perfect amounts of synthpop and meloncholy while striking right at the ol' heartstrings."

"Their best album in 30 years." **** Mojo
"Simple Minds at their ideal fighting weight." **** Q Magazine
"Big Music is the genuine article: a remarkable record that can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with any of Simple Minds' first five albums." **** Record Collector
"A brave new phase of their career." 8/10, Vive Le Rock
