New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Swedish trio Baskery release "Sick Of The Remedy" via all DSP's. The single comes off their upcoming EP set for release early 2018. Stream "Sick Of The Remedy" via Spotify:

The trio made of sisters Greta (banjo, drums, vocals), Stella (double bass, vocals) and Sunniva (guitar, vocals) Bondesson produced the track themselves while 5-time GRAMMY Award-winning producer/engineer Ray Kennedy is credited for the engineering and mixing.

Of the origin of the song the sisters recall "We wrote this song in a casita out on the countryside in Placitas, New Mexico. The lyrics portray a person stuck in a negative pattern, desperately trying to get out of it by breaking all boundaries, while seeking the cure. The only feeling that remains is the fear of being left alone."

Spinning folk and Americana traditions through a whirlwind of grunge energy and jaw-dropping musicianship Baskery have been turning heads around the world the old fashioned way - with rollicking and rowdy live shows. Since their 2007 formation, the band has been invited to tour the U.S. and jam alongside fellow virtuosos Gary Clark, Jr. and Brandi Carlile, in addition to canvasing Europe with UK pop star Robbie Williams. Earning critical acclaim from Q, Mojo, Uncut, and many more, they transformed casual audiences into believers at SXSW, Glastonbury, and Shaky Knees 2016, where My Morning Jacket front man Jim James caught their set and proceeded to invite them to join his Prince tribute later on that evening.

Praise from the likes of Paste Magazine, The Huffington Post, Relix, and more US tastemaker blogs have earned the band slots at this year's Bonnaroo, Newport Folk Festival, Arroyo Seco, BottleRock and NON-COMMvention.
