Swim Season Has Started With "Soldiers"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) In Australia, summer starts in October. After brushing off the bathers and hosing the cobwebs out of the esky, your mates bring over the snags, pool noodles, and the search for a perfect summer anthem blaring out of the radio begins.

For 2015, Melbourne five-piece Swim Season present you with an easy solution - their new single, "Soldiers".

Swim Season emerged in 2014, with their songs 'The Throne' and 'Hide & Seek' both piquing the attention of triple j Unearthed and sending them on road trips across Australia with the likes of Northeast Party House, Asta and Pluto Jonze.

'Soldiers' anchors the band's debut EP Cascades, which hits this October, and is a strong statement from a band demanding to be noticed. The track is solid, unpretentious pop, melting 80s new wave with guitar driven grooves, a sprinkling of synth and more hooks than a pirate ship.

Swim Season know how to bring the party. Their mastery of hooks and solid show has meant the band have quickly built up their reputation as one of the hottest acts on Australia's live circuit.

WHAT THEY ARE SAYING ABOUT SWIM SEASON:

"This really pops out of the speakers from the get go, yet you're still able to make it lift for the chorus… No small feat!" - Max Quinn, Triple J Unearthed

"What an absolute gem it is!" - Adam Not Eve

"Front man James Seymour… has one of the strongest vocal ranges going round"
- The AU Review
