The Who "Who Hits 50!" 2015
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) There is no more significant a milestone in Rock Music than the 50th Anniversary. Through the decades, THE WHO redefined rock music as we know it and their influence continues in all areas of popular culture to this day.

THE WHO HITS 50! continues throughout all of 2015 with very special re-releases throughout the year, a 45-date North American tour and a huge celebratory show in Hyde Park.

To kick start 2015, March 24th sees all of the band's 11 studio albums released on vinyl alongside a double vinyl version of their ultimate hits package The Who Hits 50!:

All of the albums have been re-mastered in 24-96 format and are pressed on heavyweight 180g vinyl. Each album will also have its original issue artwork, including:

Tommy - Original six-panel fold out / 12-page color 11" x 11" booklet and LP sides pressed as original 1969 vinyl.

The Who Sell Out - Includes a replica of the original 20" x 30" poster as an insert.
Quadrophenia - Gatefold sleeve with original 44-page booklet.
Face Dances - Includes a replica of the 24" x 24" poster of the album cover as an insert.
On April 7th the first in a series of 7" singles box sets is released covering their first seven singles as The Who as well as their one and only 7" as The High Numbers.

'The Brunswick Singles 1965 - 1966' is volume one of a four part set of classic Who singles by labels (Brunswick, Reaction, Track and Polydor) all coming in 2015. Containing seven 7" singles from the start of the band's career pressed on heavyweight vinyl with paper sleeves (reproducing the period graphics front and back with die-cut center holes), the singles are housed in a rigid 'lid-and-tray' outer box and feature a 7" sized color booklet with liner notes about each release by Who biographer Mark Blake.

On April 7th there will be a collectible blue vinyl 7" of The Who's latest classic 'Be Lucky' from 'The Who Hits 50!' album backed with the band's very first single from 1965 'I Can't Explain.' 'Be Lucky' is The Who's first new material in eight years and in keeping with their ongoing support for Teenage Cancer charities, the band have donated their royalties from the song to Teen Cancer America (teencanceramerica.org), a charity founded in 2011 by Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend.

The Who will also bring "THE WHO HITS 50!" tour to North America this year. "THE WHO HITS 50!" tour will kick off its spring run on April 15 in Tampa, FL and will include 21 stops throughout the east before wrapping on May 30 in Forest Hills, NY. The fall leg will launch September 14 in San Diego, CA and begin with West Coast dates throughout the U.S. and across Canada before concluding November 4 in Philadelphia, PA. Tickets are on sale now; more information can be found at thewho.com/tour. In addition, $1 from each ticket sold on "THE WHO HITS 50!" North American tour will benefit Teen Cancer America.

As one of the greatest live bands of all time, The Who will also take to the Great Oak Stage in London's iconic Hyde Park on Friday, June 26 for Barclaycard Presents British Summertime with very special guests Paul Weller, Kaiser Chiefs and Johnny Marr and others to be announced. The all-day bill will feature many more brilliant acts that owe an artistic debt to one of the most influential of all British bands.

Hyde Park will be the final UK show of the 'WHO HITS 50!' tour which ROGER DALTREY described as "The beginning of the long goodbye."
