NEW YORK (Yellow Productions) - In a move that inspires a reflexive Lady Miss Kier "Ooh, la-la la la-la-la-la-la!" reaction, popping New York indie, Tommy Boy Records will release four albums from the very hip French record label, Yellow Productions.

The four albums to be released as a result of the Yellow Productions Tommy Boy Records deal are "Africanism" by The Africanism Allstars, "Brasil" by South American chanteuse, Salome de Bahia, "Antigua" by bosa nova duo, Tom & Joy and the new, as yet untitledand top secretalbum from label honcho Bob Sinclar. All will be released, respectively, simultaneously on both continents. (In the UK, "Africanism" will be released on the hot Defected Records label.)

"Africanism III" by The Africanism Allstars, tentatively scheduled to be released on May 10, is the first of the exotic "Africanism" album series to be released in the U.S. On it fans will find a sunny signature Bob Sinclar mix of over sixteen Afro-House tracks produced exclusively for this compilation by some of the best in the biz including Lady Smith Black Mambazo, Shinishi Osawa for Mondo Grosso, David Guetta, Tim Deluxe, Joachim Garraud, Ben Onono, Bon Sinclar, Malinga Five, Jeff Kellner, Nassau, KC Flightt, Yves LaRock, Lecan, Osibiza. The first single from the album, "Summer Moon," was a hit at the recent Winter Music Conference in Miami.

Yellow Productions was conceived in 1994 after a chance meeting between jazz, funk, Brazilian music collector DJ Yellow (aka Alain Ho) and popular club DJ Chris The French Kiss (aka Bob Sinclar; ne Chris LeFriant)then the resident DJ at the famous Parisian club, "La Palace." Yellow's roster reflects Chris and DJ Yellow's enlightened sounda fusion of love of hip hop, acid jazz, bosa nova samba, Afro-beat and house, however the label is best known as the home of the wildly popular French House sound.
