New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Award winning singer/songwriter Tony Moore is about to release his latest single, a mid paced pop ballad called So Many Ways (Of Missing You). Recorded between Studios in London, Cardiff and Nashville, it features the legendary Tommy Harden on drums (
Reba McEntire band plus thousands of country cuts) and acclaimed bassist and Gibson Guitars endorsee KT Parker. Tony sang and played all the rest of the instruments but asked his long time musical co-collaborator ILONA to add her unique voice to the harmonies.
The song reflects the feeling that when you lose someone from your life (for whatever reason) it's actually all the tiny and seemingly insignificant things that you really seem miss.
2017 has been a busy year so far for Tony, starting with a week of shows in Las
Vegas in January, recording writing and producing through February and March and now he's live shows are picking a pace. He has just headlined the Nero stage at Cornbury, has more festival stages lined up in Bristol and Edinburgh as well as his own Headline night at The Pheasantry in London on October 9th. There will be announcements of more shows and some big support dates through his website and social media shortly.
He will be celebrating the launch of the single with a special night of music at The Strand Palace Hotel in Central London on July 27th which will be free entry, feature 3 other emerging artists and start from 7:30.
Tony has had a long an eclectic career in the music business. He started out as one of the original members of
Iron Maiden playing keyboards, then over the years has worked with many artists including being keyboard player with Cutting Crew in the 80's. For the last 20 years he has dedicated his time to helping new and developing singer/songwriters through the legendary stages he has created, first at The
Kashmir Klub and latterly The Bedford in Balham.
He was inducted into the
Music Managers Forum roll of honour for his services to British
Music as well as being awarded the much coveted Gold Badge award in 2010.
