Touchdown: INXS Land In Oz; 'Switch' Debuts In The Top 20

Sydney, AU. (SONY BMG MUSIC Entertainment) - They're here! Yep, the legendary INXS touched down in Australia this week, and we're ridiculously excited. The rockers are here to give us all the goss on their killer new album 'Switch', which debuted at an awesome No 18 on the ARIA albums chart. It'll also be INXS' first chance to introduce Australia to their scorching new singer J.D. Fortune. Aussie rock icons INXS are back, in more ways than one! Andrew, Tim, Jon, Kirk and Garry have returned home to Australia, accompanied by their new frontman, J.D. Fortune, and with an absolutely massive new album rocking the airwaves. Their 11th studio album 'Switch' hit the ARIA charts fro a No 18 debut, proving that these guys have definitely got what it takes to rock the world to its foundations!

While they're in town, INXS will be spreading the word about their new sound and new singer, but if you're keen to get even more of an insight into the world of INXS, you might want to check out a new biography detailing the history of the band. 'INXS: Story To Story' is the band's first autobiography, and was written by INXS with New York author Anthony Bozza.

"A number of books have been written about us over the years, most of them in the wake of Michael's tragic death, but none of them has been authorized by us or is in any way reflective of our point of view," says Kirk Pengilly.

"This book is the band's history whilst Michael was alive, and the only one we have ever endorsed and been personally involved in. It's our self-portrait and a true and honest account of our lives as INXS."
