UK Rock Band, Free From Gravity, Releases A New Single In Honor Of A Battle With Cancer

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Dotted Music Media) Free From Gravity's debut single is not just one that the lead singer Vince Barnes connects with on the most personal of levels, but is one that resonates with the hearts of millions. In August 2010, Vince' mother was diagnosed with lung cancer - when he went to visit her in the hospital three weeks after chemo had started, he could hardly even recognize her due to her staggering appearance.

She is healthy, happy and in remission now but the experience has moved Vince to spread the message of courage and determination. The Long Road was written in honor of his mother and to let everyone else know that they are not alone in their struggles.

The Long Road is released on March 31, 2014 through Kick Assed Records and all proceeds will be donated to Yes To Life - the UK charity that directly supports people with cancer by taking an integrative approach to cancer care, combining the best of complementary and orthodox medicine.
