New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Capitol Records) - With a year's worth of continuous praise from her home base U.K, now enthusiastically echoed by leading-edge Stateside cognoscenti and media tastemakers, the debut American EP by the warm-voiced, strikingly visual and greatly gifted singer-songwriter V V BROWN will be released digitally October 20, 2009.

Titled, The Attic EP, the four-track digital tracklisting is: 'Game Over,' 'Quick Fix,' along with 'Crying Blood (Andrew Weatherall Remix),' and an acoustic performance of 'Shark in the Water.' - all key tracks from her forthcoming album. The first U.S. physical release, a 7-inch single, is scheduled for November 17th - 'LEAVE! (Little Boots Mix)' coupled with 'Crying Blood (Andrew Weatherall Remix).' The full album TRAVELLING LIKE THE LIGHT, described in the U.K. press as 'a perfect pop cocktail' (The Sun) and 'Spector-ish pop as slick as her black pompadour...her vocal shines through every track' (Elle), is set for U.S. release on February 9, 2010.

But lest that seem too far off, V V's album tracks have enjoyed sneak previews in several high-profile television shows around the networks and cable: 'Back In Time' is heard in the third episode of CW's top-rated new series The Vampire Diaries as well as CSI: NY; 'Shark in The Water' in MTV's The City and 'Everybody' in a promo spot for ABC's Desperate Housewives.

V V Brown will travel to the U.S. for promotional activity October 26-29, visiting New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles, where she will discuss her refreshingly original take on performing, songwriting, production and fashion on the legendary KCRW radio program Morning Becomes Eclectic on October 27th. In anticipation of the trip, V V was featured on the cover of WWD's October 15th issue with a photo shoot and feature interview; she also makes an appearance in the current issue of the iconic culture monthly Interview.

In the U.K. and Europe, V V has performed with The Ting Tings, Ladyhawke and Antony & the Johnsons, among others. She also is launching a website devoted to retro fashion in a modern context, and has made runway appearances at supermodel Naomi Campbell's charity event, and at London Fashion Week.
