LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ 60cyclemedia) - Curtain Call Volume 2 reintroduces some of American Idol?s most talented young performers with 12 original songs. Here?s your chance to discover what these vocalists have been up to since they left the show.
A joint venture between Artists - Addiction Records and Rocket Science, the Curtain Call series is available exclusively through Wal-Mart and iTunes. Volume 2 of the collection will be released March 18th.
Each installment of the Curtain Call series will present four Idol finalists performing three original songs. Volume 2 features Alaina Alexander, Rudy Cardenas, Sarah Mather and Gedeon McKinney.

- Poetic singer/songwriter Alaina Alexander was a top 24 finalist on season 6. Citing influences from Lauryn Hill to Janis Joplin, Alaina?s tender, soulful voice brings a refreshing twist to her guitar driven songs. Prior to Idol, Alaina was selected to be part of the girl group, Foxi-Nova, which was signed to Interscope Records. Recently she has been working on her debut album with Josh Abraham (Pink, Michelle Branch) overseeing the creative direction.

- Originally from Venezuela, Rudy Cardenas knew he was meant to be on stage from a very young age. He pursued his study of music and graduated with a degree in vocal performance from the University of Northern Colorado. He began performing in musical theatre and eventually moved to New York. Rudy was the power alto for the award winning group m-pact. He has shared the stage with such artists as Stevie Wonder, Take 6 and David Foster. He is currently in the studio working on his debut album.

- Sarah Mather auditioned for Season 4 of Idol and made it to the Top 12 girls. A day after her departure from the show, she moved to New York to pursue her dreams in music. Sarah released her debut album, Another Day, co-written by Grammy-nominated producer Ernie Lake, on iTunes. Sarah is most passionate about live performance, and plays with her band frequently in New York.

- A native of Memphis, Tennessee and the son of a noted blues singer, Gedeon McKinney auditioned for Idol in season 5 and made it to the Top 24. Following his time on the show, Gedeon has continued to work in the entertainment industry as an actor, writer and musician, as well as vocalist. Though he is a solo artist, he continues to sing in the choir and for the church that saw his talent and nurtured his gift since he was 5 years old.

Former American Idol finalists being considered for future volumes of the Curtain Call series include Patrick Hall, Trenyce, Jared Cotter, Kinnik Sky, Louis Gazzara and Lisa Leuschner.
