DENVER, CO. (By Sandy Krolick/ PKG Entertainment) - PKG Entertainment, (OTC:PKGN) announced today that Violet Nine's debut release, Any Wonder, has already begun to show revenue, with substantial purchasing in the northeast and significant presence on digital download sites, including iTunes, Virgin and Rhapsody.

Brent Kidwell, Sr. Music Supervisor at MTV, recently said in an unsolicited comment, "I get about 10 good CDs per day, but this album ('Any Wonder') is stop-you-in-your-tracks amazing."

Violet Nine kicked off their CD release day with a two-song performance on the Fox 25 Morning News show for New England viewers. They are now receiving substantial notice in the greater Boston and New England area. The CD is moving up the Top 100 Indie chart at Newbury Comics, one of the region's most popular music retailers, where it is currently No 86.

Now scheduled for an 'in-studio' performance on Boston's WAAF radio and an in-store performance at the Virgin Megastore in Boston, both in June, Violet Nine's album was selected as a "Pure Pick" by hot Internet music site, 'Pure Volume.' With over 7.5MM 'hits' a day on the Pure Volume homepage, Violet Nine is receiving considerable exposure. In fact, Violet Nine is already among the top 25 of most played artists on the site, and No 7 in most music downloads.

Another major Internet website and hard copy magazine, Amplifier, has already tagged Violet Nine on their homepage, and is also planning a feature article on the band in their July issue. The timing is great as it will coincide with the big advertising push that will be going on throughout May, June and July where Violet Nine will have a presence on music sites like MySpace, Pitchfork and Pop Matters and on leading music 'blogs.'

New York based internet marketing guru, Vera Sheps of Two Sheps That Pass..., a PKG partner on the Violet Nine launch, says, "Violet Nine's Internet presence is growing daily, and as a result, we are seeing their fan-base grow exponentially. This will undoubtedly lead to additional national exposure and sales."
