In the US, Christmas has become synonymous with the semi-annual Wainwright/McGarrigle Carnegie Hall shows. 'It's an off-the-cuff evening of friends and family kind of popping on and off stage as if the stage was our living room,' says Rufus Wainwright.
Special guests consisting of Rufus, Martha and Kate's friends and family will be announced later this summer.
