Wilson Fairchild Releases New Album 'Songs Our Dads Wrote' - Available Now!
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The wait is over, as country duo Wilson Fairchild releases their anticipated project Songs Our Dads Wrote. The album pays tribute to their fathers Harold and Don Reid, both founding members of the legendary Country Music Hall of Fame quartet, The Statler Brothers. The project features nine Statler classics, along with a special Wilson Fairchild penned track, "The Statler Brothers Song."

The must-have collection, released exclusively by BFD through RED Distribution is available NOW on iTunes, Amazon and wherever music is sold.

"The nicest response we have gotten is that we come from Country Music Royalty," said a humorous Wilson Fairchild. "So, from Prince Wil and Duke Langdon, we hope everyone loves the music as much as we did recording these cool songs."

The project has been met with high critical praise, with Digital Journal calling Songs Our Dads Wrote a "heartfelt project." The dynamic duo also took fans inside the making of the song, "A Letter From Shirley Miller," in a feature on The Country Note. Showing the versatility of the project, Cybergrass 'The Bluegrass Music News Network' took fans inside the track "Some I Wrote," which took a more acoustic route. The pair was also recently featured on WSM's Nashville Today with Devon O'Day, the syndicated program Whisky & Cigarettes, Nashville Entertainment Weekly and more, with upcoming features on the Classic Country Jamboree, Nashville Entertainment Weekly, Nashville Sports & Entertainment Magazine, among others.

The rootsy duo are kicking their promo efforts into high gear, appearing at the legendary Ernest Tubb Midnite Jamboree on February 25. The show is the second longest-running radio program in history, airing on 650 AM WSM, enabling listeners to listen in LIVE worldwide at wsmonline.com. Fans in the Nashville, Tennessee area can attend the FREE show at the Texas Troubadour Theater.

About Wilson Fairchild:
Wilson Fairchild is a country music duo made up of Wil and Langdon Reid from the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. These two men, referred to as "the Reid boys," have been writing, performing and playing music together their whole lives. To sum up their passion and drive for their music and career, a self-penned line from their new title cut, "Country On", says it all: "We love country music and we'll never let it die."

Wil and Langdon are highly acclaimed songwriters. They both have been writing songs since their teenage years, in between baseball and football games and girls, of course. Along with recording their own music, such artists as the Statler Brothers, Ricky Skaggs and Dailey & Vincent have recorded their songs, as well. So yes, that means their songwriting gamut spans through the country, bluegrass, and gospel fields. They learned the craft from the best and know how to put an idea to music and come away with a great storytelling song.
