Among more artists, Gen X music fans are treated to the acoustic folk pop sounds of Ringling student, Gina Moffit, and cool blues rock sounds of Dusty And The Robodrum, all the way from Tupelo, Mississippi. Younger Gen Y music fans have their fill of youthful pop punk from bands like Belleview's Victory Bound Rival and Eleventyseven from Greenville, South Carolina.

An all ages show, The X&Y Fest brings energy, sights and live sounds to anyone looking for a day of the best in live music from the best in emerging bands.

Add fan interaction and prize money, and much more is brought to the party. Fans make a statement by voting for their favorite band. Votes greatly influence the event producer's final decision, which ultimately hands one Gen X band and one Gen Y band their share of $500 in prize money.

Discount tickets are available now online at www.xyfest.com for $10. Tickets are $12 the day of the event. With 10 bands, bonus bands and activities, like the Gyrosphere provided by Adventure Promotions, which can turn any thrill seeker into a human spin toy, at about $1 a band, the ticket price is right. Ringling College of Art & Design students receive free admission with their student ID.
