Not for Profit "Social Enterprise" Timeless
Music Project delivers projects aimed at drawing attention to and supporting Yorkshire's talented music industry. Set up by singer Pat Fulgoni (Kava Kava / Hospital Records etc) projects include regional showcase CDs, events, festivals and conferences for example making the case for and organising the first ever Yorkshire SXSW events in 2009 and 2010. Pat Fulgoni said:
"SXSW is regarded by many as the most important US based
Music Conference relevant to British
Music - helping to break acts including Amy Winehouse,
Corinne Bailey Rae and the
Kaiser Chiefs to name a few. For a few years now our Social Enterprise has enjoyed promoting many excellent Yorkshire labels, managers and artists at this essential event. After two rammed Yorkshire Parties in 2009 and 2010 its great to be back once again at the excellent British
Music Embassy venue, this time with the North-East and in the context of a Northern Day"

"To paraphrase one of the North's greatest sons, the much-missed Mr. Anthony H Wilson - who lest we forget summed up all that was great about his beloved home by calling one of the most creative and radical record labels in history Factory - in the North, we gave the world The Beatles, The Animals, Oasis, Stone Roses, Pulp, Roxy Music, Arctic Monkeys, The Human League, Sting, Happy Mondays, The Smiths, The Las, Joy Division, New Order,
Corinne Bailey Rae and many, many more. London gave us Chas And Dave"
"The North's three key regions (North East, North West and Yorkshire) are making sure that music businesses are thriving in the North of England, so our artists need look no further than their home town to find those who can shape, guide and expand their career. Generator, Liverpool Sound City, Timeless
Music Project and Higher Rhythm are leading the way to turn things around, and together bring you one of the strongest rosters of artists all week at SxSW"
