New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Sticky Toffee PR) Born and raised in Barking (London, UK), RD took his first steps into the grime scene at just 13, performing at youth clubs and pirate stations from Dagenham to Hackney with his cousins S-Kid and Haystee. RD became a well known face on the grime scene, but soon decided to take a step away from the industry to further craft his sound away from the limelight. Last year saw the enigmatic MC release his official come back single 'Chasing Elizabeth', which received outstanding blog support from both the grime and electronic music community.
RD now presents his brand new single titled 'Tell Me', a slice of unadulterated grime at it's best. With an electronic backdrop of swirling synth lines and sub heavy percussion, RD delivers an authoritative vocal performance packed with energy and precise wordplay.
'Tell Me' is taken from RD's forthcoming EP which is due for release in the first quarter of 2013.
