New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Toronto-bred singer/songwriter Blaise Moore has shared her captivating new single, "Grips". Released via 21 Entertainment/Interscope Records/Universal Music Canada, "Grips" is set to appear on Moore's forthcoming sophomore EP Temporary Her.

Haunting yet infectious, "Grips" showcases Moore's intense vocal presence and intimate lyricism. With its lavish textures and powerful beats, the track also delivers an artful and inventive take on R&B that mines influence from trip-hop and trap.

Due out later this year, Temporary Her follows her dynamic 2017 release Laurence. A detailed play-by-play of a passionate love affair and its dissolution, Laurence features the acclaimed lead single "Friends" hailed by Billboard as "knotty, winding and hypnotically detached." In the much-talked-about video for "Friends", Moore shared actual text messages from the ex who inspired the EP, brilliantly transforming heartbreak into a tool for self-empowerment.

Born in Toronto, Moore spent some of her childhood in New Zealand and began creating music in high school (partly by skipping class and sneaking into the music room to teach herself piano). In 2016 she put out an EP titled London, then added two songs and re-released the EP as Laurence after signing with 21 Entertainment/Interscope Records. Soon after making her Interscope debut, Moore headed out on a North American tour opening for The Japanese House. So far in 2018 she's performed with Daniel Caesar, Hoody Allen and Khalid.
