Briefcase Blues Concert Date Set For Texas

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Today, the ever popular internationally famous crowd pleasing Briefcase Blues Band announced that a one of kind super special show will take place in Fort Worth, Texas on June 18th. A two hour extravaganza complete with the full band with the exception of Lee Schwing the famous character actor known near and wide as Jake's go to man in the blues, Elwood Blues. Lee recently under went a quadruple bypass and is now at home on the mend. This is where you come in - this very special event will be in Lee�s honor and it's going to be recorded on video. Backing up a second: on June 13th, that recent, Lee Schwing underwent quadruple bypass heart surgery and is now recuperating at home. So since he cannot be at the show on Saturday night Houston radio personality Christopher Tamez (KTSU 90.9 FM), along with MBE Productions videographer Pat Caster will be interviewing audience members along with current and past band members to create a get-well and congratulations �video bouquet� for Lee. Plus it gets even better as these get well segments that will be a part of our 2-hour show will also be podcast from KTSU the following week.

They got together in September of '83 and played for pizza and beer and the rest as they say is history. The guys went on to share the stage with the likes of Sinbad, Dennis Miller, and Cheech & Chong plus a throng of invited audience members who have joined them on stage. After his surgery Lee recently decided that it was time to pass the briefcase on to a new Elwood. Enter one Morgan Bodie, the established character actor, fresh out of the slammer, who will take on the role of Elwood Blues.
