WHAT: The Hennessy Artistry 2009 Series - a four-city slate of musical performances that delivers an electrifying experience of unexpected blends: musical, artistic, cultural - and flavorful - stops off in Houston on October 3rd. The event will be co-curated and headlined by hip-hop impresario Common and house band The Roots - named one of the "greatest live acts in the world" by Rolling Stone.
Hosted exclusively by Hennessy, the evening will also feature surprise performers and an unannounced iconic artist appearance.
So far this year, Hennessy Artistry's Chicago event featured surprise performances by Heavy D and Jeremih, Atlanta welcomed Amerie and Boyz II Men and in the past, events have showcased Kanye West and LL Cool J.
The series premiered at The Shrine in Chicago (Sept. 12), made a stop at Atlanta's Velvet Room (Sept. 19) and will celebrate with a grand finale show in New York at "Halo" @ Terminal 5 (Oct. 7). Hennessy Artistry was also the presenting sponsor of the Common Ground Benefit in Los Angeles (Sept. 26).
