Houston, TX. (Top40 Charts/ Heart 2 Heart Records) - Lovely, a.k.a. Lovely Monay, was born and raised in Houston Texas. Introduced to music at the young age of 5, Lovely found her calling for the love of music by watching her Father and Uncle Sly whom were musicians for several bands. From that experience, she started singing, dancing, and just putting on a show at family reunions and other family gatherings whenever the chance permitted.

At about the age 11, Lovely began really taking her music seriously. Lovely frequently watched and kept a close eye on singer J Reale as he would sing and perform, who had lived next door to her Father and had worked with successful groups such as H-Town and Joy. J Reale started a group featuring Lovely called 'Crazy Little Kids' which she was rappin' and singing with two other girls. The group started performing and did a show at a local skating ring with 'Street Military', an independent group in Houston that was well known back then. But Lovely was eventually pulled from the show by her Father because of the rawness of that show that had seemed not to be in the best interest of Lovely at that time.

Lovely eventually made her way into the building of Houston's entertainment hot spot, the Arena Tower, thanks to her associate Big Rich whom had a rehearsal studio there. Also there at that time were successful labels such as Suave House Records, Big Time Records, and Rap-A-Lot Records. When time permitted her for breaking away from her dance and singing practice, J Reale and her Father would take Lovely to Big Rich's studio, Ultimate Sounds, where she would bump into celebrity hopefuls at that time like R&B group 'Girls Tyme' who is now known as 'Destiny's Child.'

Unfortunately, Lovely's group 'Crazy Little Kids' never got to the point of recording music and was eventually terminated. At the still tender age of 15, Lovely took her singing career in her own hands to avoid further disappointment. J Reale would then introduce Lovely to a producer by the name of Big Pookie, who became the first producer to actually record Lovely even though she did not yet have her sound style, and name mastered.

As the years past, Lovely was learning her craft of music and style. On a visit to Atlanta she unexpectedly met Maurice Star who had created New Edition and New Kid On The Block. He invited Lovely to fly to Minneapolis the following day to a studio where she was introduced to a group named Four Letter Word, a project Maurice was producing at that time. She acted as a producer's assistant for the group and soon after realized that she could produce and write her own music. Before, other writers and producers wrote Lovely's music.

After a 3-day stay in Minneapolis, Lovely traveled back to Houston and continued her music and began to work with local producers such as Burning Bush, Sam Beats, Southern Fried Entertainment, Caviar, who worked at the Hit Kitchen, Pookie Samples, and Jhiame and Da Assassinz. She also did a voice over for R&B group Silk on a track entitled 'We're Callin' U' and a photo cover for local Hip Hop artist Mr. Coup.

Due to bad deals and offerings, Lovely reconstructed herself and decided to start her own record label, Heart 2 Heart Records. Now Executive producing, writing, and arranging her music, Lovely has her sites set on her debut album entitled 'Multiple Personalities.' Her first two singles, 'Trippin' and 'I Am' (Who's Dat?), are sure to be the new bangers of the clubs, radio, your favorite ringtone, iPods, and blazin' from your trunks.
