Jadakiss Unleashes THE LAST KISS On April 7, 2009!

Los Angeles, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Roc-A-Fella Records) - Legendary rapper Jadakiss, always at the eye of the storm, puts an end to five years of speculation about his new album when the aptly-titled THE LAST KISS arrives in the physical and digital marketplace April 7th. The first single "Can't Stop Me" produced by Neo The Matrix follows up to the club banger "By My Side" feat. Ne-Yo and street smash "Letter To B.I.G" ft. Faith Evans off the Notorious movie soundtrack. The new album marks the second release on the mega-successful multi-platinum Ruff Ryders label. In the midst of delivering a highly anticipated album Jadakiss has also been working on a sneaker lifestyle website as well as upcoming BET reality show.

THE LAST KISS is the long-awaited follow-up to Kiss Of Death, the second album by Jadakiss, released June 2004. The million-selling No 1 pop and No 1 R&B album turned out a trio of hit singles, starting with 'Time's Up' (featuring Nate Dogg, produced by Scott Storch); then 'Why' (featuring Anthony Hamilton, produced by Havoc); and 'U Make Me Wanna' (featuring Mariah Carey, produced by Storch).

THE LAST KISS picks up where Kiss Of Death left off, with the albums first official single 'Can't Stop Me", guest appearances by Ne-Yo(By My Side), "Something Else" ft. Young Jeezy, "One More Step" ft. Styles P., Sheek Louch, Lil' Wayne, Pharell, Barrington Levy, Avery Storm, Jasmine Sullivan, S.I, Ghostface & Raekwon . Producers on board the new album project include the Neptunes, Swizz Beatz, Eric Hudson, The Incredibles, Buckwild, Denaun Porter, Needlz, Sean C & LV, and Baby Grande.

Kiss Tha Game Goodbye, the solo debut from Jadakiss, was released August 2001. On the strength of its three chart singles - 'Knock Yourself Out' (produced by the Neptunes); 'We Gonna Make It' (featuring Styles P. and produced by Alchemist); and 'Put Ya Hands Up' - the album rose to No 2/R&B and No 5/pop, and went on to sell more than three million copies worldwide. Prior to starting his solo career, Jadakiss spent nearly a decade as a member of the legendary rap collective the L.O.X. (later known as D-Block), whose members included Styles P. and Sheek Louch.
