New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The new single, "KIT KAT" from the legendary R&B Group HI-FIVE was written by Brian Adams and Billy Covington and produced by Sheldon Goode and Brian Adams. The single is available on iTunes, GooglePlay, Amazon and all other digital retailers.
"We wanted to give the song a slick-play on human's addiction to chocolates and sweets and in this case it was the women's kitty kat, being so good and powerful that the craving was unbearable," mentions Billy. In the coming weeks, the group will embark on a national promotional tour in support of the new single with stops in Los Angeles, Dallas, Atlanta, Chattanooga, Birmingham, Montgomery, Chicago, Virginia and Washington DC.
A few weeks back, HI-FIVE took over the SiriusXM FLY airwaves with an exclusive interview and performance of some of their greatest hits for the legendary Heather B. The group took Heather and her audience back a few years with "Can't Wait Another Minute", "I Like The Way (The Kissing Game)" and a few other songs including their new material, "Different Kiss" and the latest release "Kit Kat".

HI-FIVE released their first and self-titled album in 1990. The album went platinum and was produced by legendary producer Teddy Riley; it included such singles as "I Just Can't Handle It" (R&B #10), "I Can't Wait Another Minute" (Pop #8, R&B #1), and their biggest hit to date, "I Like the Way (The Kissing Game)", which went to number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and the U.S. Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Unconditional Love" (Pop #92, R&B #21) and "Never Should've Let You Go" (Pop #30, R&B #10). "
Unconditional Love" was also featured in the multi-platinum Menace II Society soundtrack, and received extensive airplay on urban contemporary stations throughout the summer of 1993 as the movie increased in popularity. "Never Should've Let You Go" was featured in the 'Sister Act 2' soundtrack. In 2013, the group's single �Favorite Girl� topped the Top 50 Urban AC charts at #37.
