Musician, 22, Invites Listeners To His Therapy Couch; Debut Album, "Therapy" Features Love, Anxiety, Humor
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) In his debut album, "Therapy," now available as a free download, producer/singer/songwriter Travis Royce, 22, shares his fears, worries, experiences with love, and battle with an anxiety disorder.

"On the outside, it looks like Travis has it all and everything comes easily to him: He's handsome, smart, talented and has lots of friends and admirers," says Dony Wilcher, who leads Royce's Portland team of friends and family members. "But ‘Therapy' gives you an honest, emotional, sometimes haunting look at his struggles, fears and what drives him."

Royce recently signed a management contract with Michael "Goldie" Greaux, a longtime veteran of Def Jam Universal, signed two music-licensing agreements and garnered an endorsement from Mcube Records. His first public performance is Aug. 21 in Portland.

Portland-area DJs are playing his songs in clubs.

In the electronic dance tune, "Machine," Royce touches on a recurring theme of feeling insecure and mixed up. The song "Savior" describes ambivalence in love that people of any age can relate to.

Another theme in "Therapy" is Royce's struggle with panic disorder, which prevented him from releasing his music publicly--until now. He has been writing and producing music for 10 years, but only shared it with friends and family. In the song "Anxiety," Royce vows to overcome his fears.

"Therapy" includes lighter songs, such as the upbeat electronic dance tunes "Machine" and "Dreamin.'" Also included is the steamy "What if I…" And "JegginGirl" is full of the humor fans enjoy in Royce's video blog.

"Immediately upon hearing Travis' music, it becomes clear that he has something special. He possesses the talent, charisma, musicality and at times sense of humor that will set him apart from other musicians of the genre," says Marc S. Boriosi, a member of The Recording Academy, the principal for A Dying Breed LLC, an artist management and development company and an A&R consultant to various record labels and media companies. "His style is smooth and his melodies are as unique and playful as they are memorable,"
