"Few sounds could be more fitting to herald the return of Monsta X, who have made a name for themselves as K-pop's bad boys. Brimming with power, raw emotion, sensuality, and confidence, the track and its accompanying visual set the tone for the band's newest EP, Take.2 'We Are Here.'" - Earmilk

Join Monsta X on September 21st, 2019 in Las Vegas, as they perform at the iHeartRadio Music Festival Day Stage as the first K-pop group ever. All tickets will go on sale to the general public later this summer. Keep up with the iHeartRadio Music Festival by visiting the website listed below:

Coming off their wildly successful iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour performances, Monsta X continue that momentum through 2019 with the release of their album Take.2 'We Are Here.' The album debuted at #5 on Billboard's World Albums Chart, #1 on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart, and the music video for lead single, "Alligator," is currently sitting at over 18 million views since release. The album has since received notable mentions in Complex, Idolator, Billboard, Cosmopolitan, and NME stating that it "features some giant leaps forward for the band." Take.2 'We Are Here' consists of 10 tracks, one of which is a collaboration with two-time Grammy nominated DJ and Producer Steve Aoki, and emphasizes the theme of finding hope between loss and wondering. Watch "Alligator" here; stream Take.2 'We Are Here' on Spotify here, and Apple Music here.

Steve Aoki composed, produced, and arranged "Play It Cool (Korean Version)" alongside co-writer and Monsta X rapper, I.M. "Recording the track was incredible because I got to work with such talented artists. Their voices and melodies and vocal performance on the track is amazing. It's the best thing in the world being able to work with such high caliber A cappella's and content. I got to work with professionals who really know how to sing the song the way it's supposed to be sung. I really wanted this song to touch people's hearts and minds. It's important that the performance really dives into someone's soul. And Monsta X knew how to do that." Steve Aoki tells Metro U.K. of the recording process. Entertainment Tonight spoke on the track; "it's a safe bet it will include the sleek production and infectious hooks that the South Korean pop group are both known for, not to mention Aoki's dancefloor-ready beats."

Monsta X took 2018 by storm with their history making performances at iHeartRadio Jingle Ball last December. Variety raved that Monsta X "was especially impressive, getting down with the acrobatics the group displayed on their hyped up, historic appearances as the first K Pop act to grace the Jingle Ball stage." The Boston Globe referred to them as the "night's most fascinating act" and MTV stated that they "had The Forum shaking and rattling." Instyle stated; "If we were giving out an award for "Best Dancer" at the Jingle Ball, it would go to Monsta X, hands down. The K-pop band opened the whole shebang, and while their vocals were also great, they stole the show with their moves."
