On December 4th, 2009, Live music breakthrough artist Protoje, in association with House of Diggy Presents the "Seven Year Wish" at Weekendz in Kingston, Jamaica.
The live performance showcase will headline Protoje, backed by the Jamnesia based, From The Deep Band. Other feature acts include the incomparable Janine, Dub Fusion pioneers Nomadzz, and Guitarist Jason Worton. Special guest appearances will include underground production Duo WillynSlim, in addition to others.
With nearly a decade of experience under his cap, Protoje is no Protege to the rough and tumble business of Reggae. His mainstream debut single release "Arguments" has found a place on turntables worldwide, capturing the ears and hearts of new fans in the USA, Europe and UK.
Peaking at No 4 on the AOL/Ourstage Reggae Music Charts, The Video single of "Arguments" was premiered with great fanfare on the critically acclaimed "Entertainment Report" On TVJ, and has since been enjoying consistent rotation on Caribbean cable outfits RETV, Hype TV and Tempo.
His highly anticipated Debut album release " The Seven Year Itch" is set for release early 2010.
