Pure Love Announce Headline Tour And Album Title; The Debut Album 'Anthems,' Out On October 1, 2012
LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Mercury Music Group) After lots of mystery and anticipation, Pure Love are ready to announce the release of their debut album. Confidently titled Anthems, the debut will be released on 1st October through Vertigo Records.
Produced by Gil Norton and recorded at Mission Sound in Brooklyn, the album is full of big, hook-filled anthems including Bury My Bones, the stomping introductory download and the first single proper Handsome Devils Club, as uplifting and propulsive as you'd want a song about - as Frank Carter defines it - "being young and having fun" to be. There's also Beach Of Diamonds, built around the most insistent of guitar riffs and a chorus that just won't let go.
Talking of the album, Pure Love stated: "We've put our blood and sweat into these songs over the past year and it's the best gift we can give to all those that have waited so patiently for it. This band has been a new beginning for us both and this record is a declaration of life, hope and, of course, love. "
The tracklisting is confirmed as:

She (Makes The Devil Run Through Me)
Bury My Bones
The Hits
Anthem
Beach Of Diamonds
Handsome Devils Club
Heavy Kind Of Chain
Burning Love
Scared To Death
Riot Song
March of the Pilgrims

Lead single, Handsome Devils Club, received its worldwide premiere as Zane Lowe's Hottest Record In The World and has been getting great support across Radio 1, XFM and Absolute. The video for Handsome Devils Club can be viewed here: https://therealpurelove.com/video.
Pure Love's timing could not be better. People have written off guitar bands and complained of a dearth of great rock music before but there has surely never been such a gaping void to be filled as there is right now. Which is where Pure Love come in… because make no mistake - this is a great guitar rock band.
Pure Love - the name is taken from a song by '70s jazz-rock fusionists Mahavishnu Orchestra, Sapphire Bullets Of Pure Love - came into being quickly and instinctively. Singer Frank Carter and guitarist Jim Carroll got together in their adopted hometown of New York at the beginning of last year having decided to form their perfect rock band. Both come from backgrounds in hardcore music - Carter was frontman with the incendiary British band Gallows; Carroll played in US hardcore bands The Hope Conspiracy and The Suicide File.
