Streetwear Juggernaut Karmaloop To Release New Mixtape, Music Video By Chicago Rapper, Spenzo
Boston, MA (Top40 Charts/ Karmaloop) Global streetwear e-retailer Karmaloop.com has partnered with Chicago Hip Hop Lyricist, Spenzo, to release the rapper's forthcoming mixtape In Spenzo We Trust, along with a music video for the single "Heaven Can Wait" directed by Karmaloop TV's own visionaries Shomi Patwary and Thuan Tran. Both In Spenzo We Trust and the music video for "Heaven Can Wait" will be available July 15th on Karmaloop.com

Along with Chicago's rise as a breeding ground for some of the rawest, most inventive hip hop coming out today, Southside rapper Spenzo ascends the gritty landscape with a chip on his shoulder and a penchant for havoc. Breaking from the delinquent nihilism associated with his Chi-town contemporaries, Spenzo's raps balance the same vigor with a subtle reflectiveness, a maturity rarely seen in 18-year-old rappers. His first mixtape Ain't You Spenzo earned him endorsements from the likes of Meek Mill, French Montana, DJ Mano, and Infrared labelmates LEP Bogus Boys. Filmed on location on Spenzo's block in Chicago, "Heaven Can Wait" shows Spenzo living life to the fullest, speeding up to an abrupt catastrophe at the story's surprise ending. The video acts as a warning about the harsh realities of gun violence, which has accounted for nearly all of the 200 homicides to occur in urban Chicago since the beginning of 2013.

To accompany "Heaven Can Wait", Karmaloop designer Thai Tran created a limited edition T-shirt design—an origami Paper Kings, foreshadowing Spenzo's dominant entrance into the rap arena. Karmaloop is excited to take part in the launch of this monumental rapper poised to enter his prime.

Karmaloop & Spenzo's Exclusive Paper Kings T-Shirt, along with In Spenzo We Trust and the "Heaven Can Wait" music video, will be available July 15th, 2013 on Karmaloop.com.
