Grateful Dead show captured on film, when NCM Fathom Events presents the previously unreleased concert "Sunshine Daydream" as part of "Grateful Dead Meet Up at the Movies 2013*." Broadcast to select movie theaters nationwide on Thursday, Aug. 1 at 7:00 p.m. local time, "Sunshine Daydream" spotlights the band's epic performance against a pastoral background in the Oregon countryside. Shot originally on 16mm film and painstakingly restored to HD resolution, this special event encapsulates the quintessential Dead Head experience.

Tickets for "Grateful Dead Meet Up at the Movies 2013" are available at participating theater box offices and online at www.FathomEvents.com. The event will be presented in nearly 450 select movie theaters around the country through NCM's exclusive

Special features include never-before-seen footage of the concert day as well as recently recorded interviews with key participants such as Ken Babbs, Sam Cutler, Wavy Gravy and Carolyn "Mountain Girl" Garcia. The host of adventuresome characters provides insight on the sense of community that made possible a special day when the culture came together to help raise money to keep the local town's Springfield Creamery afloat.
