Fort Worth, TX (Top40 Charts/ Phil Hamilton Official Website) The first single, "Bad," off Phil Hamilton's new album RENEGRADE ROCK N' ROLL has become his second top ten hit on both the Texas Music Chart and Texas Regional Radio Report this week. "I just can't believe it," says Hamilton, who heard the news at the Ranch's Infield Concert at the Nationwide O'Reilly Auto Parts 300 Race at Texas Motor Speedway on Friday.

Phil got to meet racing superstar, Danica Patrick, before her first top ten finish in a NACAR Race. "I was so excited to meet her and appreciate her determination to win," said Hamilton, "she inspires me to keep on working hard to achieve success as an artist."

Radio and fans have responded with overwhelming approval for RENEGADE ROCK N' ROLL for its fusion of rock into Country Music since it's release. "Bad," is currently in heavy rotation at radio stations across Texas, Oklahoma and the Midwest. Phil's popularity continues to grow this year beyond the Lone Star state. He is maintaining a heavy touring schedule and enjoys attracting new fans to his music. He was recently voted as a finalist for "New Male Vocalist," at the Texas Regional Music Awards. Phil was selected as the top 3 new Texas Country bands in DFW as voted by 95.9 The Ranch listeners in 2009. He's opened for major Texas/Red Dirt Artists like the Casey Donahew Band and the Josh Abbott Band.

Phil believes in giving back to the areas that he plays. Last year the worst drought since the 1950's affected water levels on the Frio River in the Texas Hill Country. Phil loves the area and wanted to help local tourism destinations to bring more visitors into the area. He came up with the idea of something fun for everyone. The first annual, "Philthy at the Frio," will be held June 1-3. Fans can float the river and enjoy great music. Phil will be performing each night at the Buckhorn Bar and Grill in Leakey, TX. Special guests will be Blue Broussard on Friday and Camille Sanders on Saturday. There will be all access passes available for $35 good for both days. There are cabin rentals and campgrounds located near the event. For more information go to: www.philhamiltonmusic.com

Drawing from his own real life experiences is what the new RENEGADE ROCK N' ROLL album is all about. Phil Hamilton pens songs with authentic lyrics. His talent and commitment as a song writer and performer allows him to turn out a steady thread of dynamic songs. These songs keep Phil Hamilton fans coming back and spreading the music to their friends across the country.
