Supernova and 99.3 The Fox, Canada's leading rock radio station, have launched the contest on cfox.supernova.com. Throughout the year, cfox.supernova.com is now the home for BC's independent music, hosting more than 600 of B.C.'s best bands, 15,000+ fans, and providing year round support and opportunities for B.C. artists to showcase their music and play live. As a platform to launch Fox Vancouver Seeds, cfox.supernova.com makes is easy for bands & fans to join the contest each year.
With Fox Vancouver Seeds 2010 fan voting in the millions, this year is set to be the biggest competition to date. Starting March 25, 2011 BC bands can enter Fox Vancouver Seeds 2011 online at cfox.supernova.com. Contestants can easily upload and submit three original songs, photos, videos, a bio and more. The deadline to submit is May 13, 2011 at 5:00pm.
Prizing for Fox Vancouver Seeds 2011 will once again substantially assist the Platinum Award Winner in launching their musical career. Last Year's Platinum Award Winner Stars of Boulevard were signed by Canada's most prestigious booking agency, The Agency Group, secured management with Adam Mott of Yeah Management in New York City, and has recently shared the stage with Danko Jones, Godsmack, Steel Panther, Disturbed, and Papa Roach.
