share
DENVER, CO. (Top40 Charts/ Suter Media Relations) - The Denver Pavilions will continue a downtown Denver summertime tradition with its announcement of 'Hot Sounds' (presented by Corona Light), which was named the 'Best Free Outdoor Concert Series' last year. Some of Colorado's hottest bands will perform every Thursday night this summer, from June 19 - August 7, beginning at 5:00 p.m. The concerts, which are all free and open to the public, will feature Colorado bands, including Hazel Miller, Opie Gone Bad, Railbenders, and Dotsero, to name just a few.

The concerts will take place at 16th and Glenarm. For more information, call 303-260-6001.

Two Colorado bands perform every Thursday for a total of sixteen separate concerts.
The sale of CDs and beverages raises funds for LoDoNa and Urban Peak.

This year's lineup includes:

June 19

Kory Brunson Band 7:00

June 26

With the stage set in the middle of Glenarm Place facing south, the setting becomes a veritable nightclub on the street, complete with tall cabaret tables.

Both food and beverage booths open at 5:00 p.m. when the entertainment begins. The Hot Sounds at Pavilions compilation CD, featuring one song from each Hot Sounds band, is sold for just $10 with the profits benefiting the LoDoNA and Urban Peak.

The urban venue is a favorite with many who look forward to being on stage with Sixteenth Street as the backdrop. According to Jake Schroeder from Opie Gone Bad, 'Denver Pavilions goes out of their way every year to produce an event that brings a ton of people downtown in good fun to benefit Urban Peak. Their line-up is always impressive and the set-up is ideal for a street summer concert. Hot Sounds continues to be one of my favorite summer series, and we're proud to be a part of it each year.'
