Adele's Comeback Begins: '25' Will End 3-Year Hiatus Since Last Album
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Adele has dropped the biggest hint yet that fans can expect a new album later this year.
She took to Twitter to mark her 26th birthday (May 5) by posting a bare-faced selfie, while alluding that her next LP could be titled 25.
The british superstar captioned the pic: "Bye bye 25... See you again later in the year x."

According to her fans, Adele's new LP would following the path of previous releases 19 and by being named after her age.
Her tweet also seems to suggest that her third studio set is due for release later this year.

In February, The Sun newspaper reported that Adele and Prince were set to produce a track together for her forthcoming studio album, but a spokesman for the US pop icon later denied the claims.

But earlier this year, Phil Collins confirmed that he had already started writing with Adele.
The former Genesis drummer told Inside South Florida: 'I've just started to work with Adele. She contacted me to write together.'

The Tottenham-born singer announced she was taking a five-year break from music to focus on her relationship with her charity entrepreneur boyfriend Simon Konecki and their 18-month-old son Angelo.

Some reports about her forthcoming effort said it might include contributions from OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder, who confirmed that he was working with her in March. With Adele he co-wrote "Set Fire to the Rain," a 2013 Grammy winner for best pop solo performance.

In December, the "Rolling in the Deep" singer was awarded the MBE for services to music at Buckingham Palace in London by Prince Charles himself.
